Minister prof. Dr. Dušanka Bošković (Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth, KS) opened the #DERHE info day with an address titled "Vision of the future: sustainability and resilience in focus" held on February 2, 2026. and organised by the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH and UNSA, Faculty of Agriculture and Food, Sarajevo. Minister Bošković highlighted that modern technology allows us to address individual challenges and create tailored solutions, enhancing system agility and involving all participants. She stressed the need to strengthen digital and green capabilities/skills in ways that shift our thinking, change the mindset about development, and benefit society as a whole. LEAN koncept je savremeni pristup organizaciji proizvodnje zasnovan na eliminaciji rasipanja, optimizaciji procesa i kontinuiranom unapređenju. Cilj rada je analiza mogućnosti i efekata LEAN transformacije u kompaniji “PMP Drive Systems” AD, sa fokusom na livničke procese. Rad pokriva LEAN filozofiju, njen istorijski razvoj i ključne alate relevantne za industriju livenja (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, VSM, TPM, Poka-Yoke), uz identifikaciju sedam vrsta rasipanja. Process parameters of FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) 3D printing technology such as layer height, outer wall speed and top/bottom speed need to be optimized in order to reduce average surface roughness of 3D printed parts. Experimental research needs to be conducted on samples made of PLA and PETG filament. Samples for research need to be fabricated by 3D printer Creality Ender-3 V3. The company aims to develop an IoT platform for air quality monitoring, which enables the collection, storage and visualization of air pollution data in real time. The system consists of a network of sensors that measure parameters such as PM particles, temperature, humidity, COx, SOx levels and other gases, while the data collected from the sensor devices is forwarded to the server via the IoT protocol. The potential applicant is required to explore key IoT technologies, platform architecture and challenges in the integration of sensor systems, and as a result to develop a functional IoT platform with the possibility of further expansion and upgrade. >> More info
