Banja Luka, a company engaged in the production of bread and bakery products, the existing implementation of Lean principles and methods needs to be analysed, with particular emphasis on production organisation and control, visual management, equipment performance improvement and preventive maintenance. Special attention will be given to the application of the Andon system for visual signalling and timely response to production line requirements, the Kaizen approach through simple and practical technical improvements, the 5S methodology for workplace organisation, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) aimed at increasing equipment reliability and availability.
