At „Krajina Klas“ d.o.o. Banja Luka, a company engaged in the production of bread and bakery products, the existing implementation of Lean principles and methods needs to be analysed, with particular emphasis on production organisation and control, visual management, equipment performance improvement and preventive maintenance.
Special attention will be given to the application of the Andon system for visual signalling and timely response to production line requirements, the Kaizen approach through simple and practical technical improvements, the 5S methodology for workplace organisation, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) aimed at increasing equipment reliability and availability. The aim of the final thesis is to analyse the implementation of selected Lean methods in a real production environment and assess their contribution to process optimisation, reduction of production downtime, more efficient equipment utilisation and improvement of product quality. Based on the analysis of the current situation, the student should identify opportunities for further implementation and systematisation of Lean methods and propose measures for the continuous improvement of production activities.
The expected outcome of the thesis is to identify the effects of Lean method implementation and develop practical proposals for increasing production efficiency, process reliability and the company's competitiveness.
