In today's highly competitive market, manufacturing companies face the constant need to improve their business and production processes, increase productivity, reduce operating costs and ensure consistent product quality. One of the approaches supporting these objectives is the implementation of the Lean concept, which focuses on identifying and eliminating activities that do not add value for the customer.

At “Krajina Klas” d.o.o. Banja Luka, a company engaged in the production of bread and bakery products, an analysis of existing production processes is required, focusing on the identification of Lean waste. Particular attention will be given to raw material storage practices, the application of the FIFO principle, the utilisation of storage and production space, visual organisation and material flow. The expected outcome of the thesis is a set of practical improvement proposals and measures based on the principles of continuous improvement and increasing value for the end customer.
