On 6 October 2025, the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, hosted an academic meeting with professors from the University of Ljubljana. The event brought together academic staff, researchers, FEUT students and Erasmus+ students. The meeting focused on exchanging experiences from the Erasmus+ projects DERHE, TET and GEMS, particularly the development of digital teaching materials and the use of interactive methods in higher education. The programme opened with an introduction to DERHE and the importance of cooperation across projects in improving teaching practices. Professor Primož Podržaj presented TET – The Evolving Textbook, focusing on digital and interactive textbooks and the involvement of students and academic staff in developing educational content. Professor Gašper Škulj presented Study Mechatronics with GEMS, introducing examples of how technology and data can support teaching and learning. The presentations were followed by an inter-project discussion and coaching... >> More info

Process parameters of FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) 3D printing technology such as layer height, outer wall speed and top/bottom speed need to be optimized in order to reduce average surface roughness of 3D printed parts. Experimental research needs to be conducted on samples made of PLA and PETG filament. Samples for research need to be fabricated by 3D printer Creality Ender-3 V3. This research is expected to result in reduction of post processing of the surfaces of 3D printing parts (over processing). A cost analysis of 3D printing with different process parameters also needs to be done. >> More info

The company aims to develop an IoT platform for air quality monitoring, which enables the collection, storage and visualization of air pollution data in real time. The system consists of a network of sensors that measure parameters such as PM particles, temperature, humidity, COx, SOx levels and other gases, while the data collected from the sensor devices is forwarded to the server via the IoT protocol. The potential applicant is required to explore key IoT technologies, platform architecture and challenges in the integration of sensor systems, and as a result to develop a functional IoT platform with the possibility of further expansion and upgrade. >> More info

Explore the possibilities of cost reduction of FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) 3D printing technology by means of the reduction of manufacturing time (over processing), energy consumption, CO2 footprint based on: 1. Experimental research on the influence of variation in density (infill) and pattern of the internal structure; 2. Experimental research of the influence of the variation of the geometric complexity; 3. Experimental samples made of PLA and ABS materials; 4. Experimental research involving 3D printers of standard, medium and large building chamber volume. >> More info

The company is interested in solving a problem of tracking cattle while outside the farm. The tracking application should be implemented as a web-based application for use on different devices. The company provides a mentor for more detailed information and requirements definition. >> More info
