PMP Jelšingrad Gradiška is currently in the phase of implementing the Lean concept (lean manufacturing), with the aim of eliminating waste across the entire business system, i.e., in all business processes. One of the key objectives is to reduce waste in the tool changeover process.
Through conducted analyses, it has been determined that a significant amount of time is spent on changing the tool for second tool and its clamping to fixtures on the welding robot.
Within this task, a process recording (time study) was carried out on December 11, 2025, at PMP Jelšingrad, at the Robot 3 workstation. At this workstation, it is necessary to manually change workpieces, as well as fixtures/tools depending on the type of parts being welded. The process is performed by operators, where one operator is responsible for three robots per shift, with additional support from another operator when required.

The company aims to develop an IoT system which enables the collection, storage and visualization of measurement data in real time. The measurements are related to various indicators of soil, air and watter that are of interest in the fields of agriculture and ecology. The system consists of a hardware devices, sensors, and a software platform for data storage and management. The potential applicant is required to explore key IoT technologies, hardware and software components required for implementation of the systems, and as a result to develop a functional prototype of the system. >> More info
Minister prof. Dr. Dušanka Bošković (Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth, KS) opened the #DERHE info day with an address titled "Vision of the future: sustainability and resilience in focus" held on February 2, 2026. and organised by the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH and UNSA, Faculty of Agriculture and Food, Sarajevo. Minister Bošković highlighted that modern technology allows us to address individual challenges and create tailored solutions, enhancing system agility and involving all participants. She stressed the need to strengthen digital and green capabilities/skills in ways that shift our thinking, change the mindset about development, and benefit society as a whole. LEAN koncept je savremeni pristup organizaciji proizvodnje zasnovan na eliminaciji rasipanja, optimizaciji procesa i kontinuiranom unapređenju. Cilj rada je analiza mogućnosti i efekata LEAN transformacije u kompaniji “PMP Drive Systems” AD, sa fokusom na livničke procese. Rad pokriva LEAN filozofiju, njen istorijski razvoj i ključne alate relevantne za industriju livenja (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, VSM, TPM, Poka-Yoke), uz identifikaciju sedam vrsta rasipanja.
U okviru realizacije zadatka uraditi sljedeće:
‒ Objasniti LEAN koncept: istorijski razvoj, principe i metode.
‒ Analizirati postojeće stanje i identifikovati rasipanja u poslovnim procesima organizacije (pripremi materijala, topljenju, livenju i obradi odlivaka, kao i organizaciji rada).
‒ Predložiti unapređenja poslovnih procesa primjenom odabranih LEAN metoda.
‒ Prikazati aktivnosti za podizanje svijesti zaposlenih, obuku, vizuelno upravljanje i razvoj LEAN kulture radi veće efikasnosti i bezbjednosti.
