Klas d.d. Sarajevo, with a tradition spanning 120 years (established in 1902), is a leading Bosnian-Herzegovinian producer in the milling and bakery industry, as well as one of the leading producers of pasta, confectionery and pastry products in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. Klas produces approximately 80,000 tonnes of food annually and employs 544 people. The primary objective of Klas’s quality strategy and policy is the production of high-quality, hygienically sound and safe food. We achieve this objective through the consistent implementation of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and HALAL standards, as well as by meeting the requirements of HACCP standards supported by the FAO and WHO. Every stage of the process—from the procurement and storage of raw materials, through production, to delivery—is carefully monitored by highly qualified technologists and experienced employees with many years of expertise. Each year, Klas invests approximately KM 500,000 in food safety, health and safety compliance, and quality control. A modern and automated production process, tradition, expertise, a diverse product range and superior quality, combined with the trust of consumers, represent the formula for our success in both domestic and international markets.
