Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) development is latest business activity of the company M-Code doo. Many components of UAV are fabricated by 3D printing. Mechanical properties of materials used for fabrication of this components are of crucial importance. Since mechanical properties of the same filament produced by different manufacturers could significantly differ, company needs deeper insight in mechanical properties of filaments produced by different manufacturers in order to choose manufacturers which offers filaments with the best mechanical properties which would result in reduction of failure of UAV components fabricated by 3D printing. For this reason, initial project task would be determination of compressive and flexural properties of PLA filament of several different manufacturers available on montenegrin market.
